Every wedding is a little different, which is why I offer a few ceremony options depending on the style of wedding you are planning. Whether you are organising a relaxed weekday wedding, a larger weekend celebration or a simple legal ceremony, I'll help guide you towards the option that best suits your plans and budget.

As a Sydney marriage celebrant based in Balmain, my packages are designed to stay clear and affordable without compromising on care. Current wedding ceremony fees typically start from around $700 for Mondays, $750 for weekdays and $850 for Friday–Sunday weekends, with a simple legals-only ceremony available from my Balmain home office.

My goal is always to create a ceremony experience that feels personal, relaxed and genuinely enjoyable from beginning to end.

All of my wedding ceremony packages include the preparation and lodgement of your legal paperwork with Births, Deaths & Marriages, support throughout the planning process, use of my PA system and wireless microphone, an online rehearsal during the week of your wedding and a handwritten marriage certificate.

I also arrive around 45 minutes before your ceremony to ensure everything is prepared and running smoothly before your guests arrive. Sydney venue travel and parking are included (excluding water taxis).

Absolutely. No two couples are the same and I truly believe your wedding ceremony should reflect who you are naturally.

I take the time to get to know you both properly so I can create a ceremony that feels genuine, relaxed and personal to your relationship. Whether you would like something romantic, light-hearted, emotional or a balance of everything, together we can create a ceremony that feels completely like you.

I officiate weddings across Sydney and surrounding regions including Balmain, the Inner West, Inner Sydney, Western Sydney, North Shore, Northern Beaches, Hills District, Sutherland Shire, Eastern Suburbs, the Blue Mountains, Southern Highlands, Bowral, Hunter Valley and Wollongong.

From waterfront venues and beautiful gardens through to wineries, private estates and intimate elopement locations, I absolutely love being part of weddings in some of New South Wales' most beautiful settings.

I always recommend booking your celebrant as early as possible, especially if you are planning a wedding during spring, autumn or on a popular weekend date.

Many couples book 12 to 18 months ahead once they have secured their venue and wedding date. If your date is sooner, still get in touch — I'll let you know quickly whether I'm available.

Of course. Many couples choose to write their own vows, and I'm always happy to provide guidance if you would like a little help getting started.

Your vows do not need to sound perfect or overly formal. The most meaningful vows are usually the ones that sound genuine and heartfelt to you both. My Wedding Planner also includes plenty of vow options if you would prefer a starting point.

Yes, and I absolutely love them. Elopements and intimate weddings can feel incredibly special because the focus stays completely on the two of you and the moment you are sharing together.

Whether you are planning a quiet Sydney Harbour ceremony, a Blue Mountains escape or a small gathering with your closest loved ones, I'll help create a ceremony that feels relaxed, meaningful and personal.

Absolutely. Love is love, and I feel incredibly honoured to create warm, welcoming and inclusive ceremonies for all couples.

Every ceremony I create is tailored personally to reflect your relationship, your story and the experience you want to share together on your wedding day.

To legally marry in Australia, you will need to complete a Notice of Intended Marriage form at least one month before your wedding date. I'll guide you through the entire process, explain exactly what documentation is required and make sure all paperwork is completed correctly and lodged on time with Births, Deaths & Marriages.

Yes. I offer simple legal-only ceremonies from my home office located in Balmain for couples wanting a relaxed and straightforward way to officially marry. Even though the ceremony is simple, I still make sure the experience feels warm, personal and special for you both.

If your ceremony is outdoors, I'll work closely with you and your venue to ensure there is always a suitable wet weather backup option in place. After officiating many weddings across Sydney and surrounding regions, I've learned that staying calm and flexible is often the key to helping couples feel relaxed no matter what the weather decides to do.

Most personalised wedding ceremonies usually run between 20 to 35 minutes depending on the level of personalisation, readings, rituals and vows included. Elopements and legal-only ceremonies are often shorter, while larger ceremonies with additional inclusions may run a little longer.

Yes. I include an online rehearsal during the week of your wedding to help everyone feel relaxed, prepared and comfortable before the big day. I'll also guide you through ceremony positioning, timing and the overall flow so everything feels natural and easy on the day.

Many couples tell me they chose Weddings I Do because they were looking for a celebrant who felt warm, genuine and easy to connect with. My approach is always relaxed and supportive. I want you to feel comfortable throughout the entire process and truly present during your ceremony rather than feeling overwhelmed or nervous.

At the end of the day, my goal is simple. To create a ceremony that feels meaningful, personal and genuinely memorable for you both and everyone sharing the moment with you.

Your wedding ceremony is custom-written around your story, personalities and the tone you want — romantic, light-hearted, traditional or a beautiful mix. Together we shape the introduction, readings, asking, vows, ring exchange, blessings and any personal rituals that matter to you.

I also take care of the legal side, bring a PA and wireless microphone, hold an online rehearsal in the week of your wedding, provide a handwritten marriage certificate, and arrive about 45 minutes early so everything feels calm before your guests arrive.

Weekend wedding ceremonies (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) are currently $850. Weekday ceremonies are $750, Mondays are $700, and a simple legals-only ceremony at my Balmain home office is $650.

A $250 deposit secures your date, with the balance due two weeks before your wedding. If you are comparing celebrants, I'm always happy to walk you through exactly what is included so you can choose with confidence.

Yes. Couples receive my detailed Wedding Planner, packed with wording options for every part of the ceremony — introductions, readings, the giving away, the asking, vows, the ring ceremony, wedding blessings and many more rituals.

It makes shaping your ceremony feel inspiring rather than overwhelming, while still leaving plenty of room for your own words and personal story.

Absolutely. Sand ceremonies, candle lighting, tea ceremonies, Poruwa elements, family blessings and other cultural or personal rituals are warmly welcome.

Tell me what matters most to your families and heritage — we'll weave those moments into a civil wedding ceremony that still meets Australian legal requirements and feels completely like you.

Yes. I regularly celebrate weddings at harbour foreshores, botanic gardens, parks, private estates, wineries and backyard celebrations across Sydney, the Blue Mountains and the Southern Highlands.

If you already have a venue in mind, share the date and location when you get in touch and I'll confirm availability and any travel notes for your setting.

Send a note via the contact page, call or email with your preferred date and venue. We'll arrange a friendly no-obligation chat in Balmain or on Zoom — with tea and chocolates if we meet in person.

From there I'll guide you through the legal paperwork, help you shape the ceremony using the Wedding Planner, and book your online rehearsal so you feel relaxed and ready on the day.

A vow renewal is a meaningful celebration of the love and commitment you already share. It can mark an anniversary, a new chapter, or simply a desire to say “I do” again in front of the people who matter most.

Unlike a legal wedding, a vow renewal is not a marriage under Australian law — which means we can focus entirely on story, emotion and the atmosphere you want to create together.

No. Because you are already legally married, a vow renewal does not require a Notice of Intended Marriage or registration with Births, Deaths & Marriages.

That freedom lets us design a ceremony that feels personal and celebratory — whether intimate and quiet, or a larger gathering with family and friends.

Yes — and many couples love this part. Your renewed vows can look back on the life you have built, look ahead to the years still to come, or simply say thank you for choosing each other again.

I'm happy to help shape the wording so it feels natural, warm and true to your relationship.

Almost anywhere that feels special to you — a harbour lookout, garden venue, family home, Blue Mountains escape or Southern Highlands estate.

Because there are no legal venue restrictions in the same way as a marriage ceremony, we can keep the focus on the setting, the people and the moment you want to create.

Most vow renewals run for around 15 to 30 minutes, depending on readings, rituals, guest involvement and how much story you would like included.

We'll shape the length together so the ceremony feels complete without rushing — and leaves room for photos, celebrations and whatever comes next.

A commitment ceremony is a heartfelt celebration of your relationship and the promises you are making to each other. It can be deeply personal, symbolic and just as emotional as a wedding — without being a legal marriage under Australian law.

Couples choose commitment ceremonies for many reasons: personal preference, timing, cultural considerations, or simply because they want a beautiful ceremony focused on love rather than legal formalities.

No. A commitment ceremony is not a legal marriage, so it does not create the same legal status as marrying under the Marriage Act.

If you later decide you would like to marry legally, I can also guide you through a civil wedding ceremony and the required paperwork when the time is right.

Commitment ceremonies are for any couple who wants to honour their relationship in a warm, inclusive and personal way. They are popular with couples who want a meaningful celebration now, couples blending families, and couples who prefer a symbolic ceremony over a legal wedding.

Every ceremony I create is tailored to your story, values and the experience you want your guests to share.

Absolutely. Personal vows, readings, ring exchanges, family blessings and symbolic rituals can all be woven into your commitment ceremony.

Because we are not tied to legal marriage wording, there is wonderful freedom to create a ceremony that feels completely authentic to who you are as a couple.

Commitment ceremonies can be held almost anywhere that feels right — harbour foreshores, gardens, private homes, beach settings, the Blue Mountains or the Southern Highlands.

Tell me the feeling you want (intimate, joyful, elegant or relaxed) and we'll shape a ceremony that suits both the location and your relationship.
