Every couple has a story worth telling well. For me, being a marriage celebrant isn't about standing at the front with a folder - it's about knowing your story so deeply that on the day, your ceremony could only ever have been about the two of you.
From my home in Balmain, I've married couples on harbour headlands, in Blue Mountains clearings, Southern Highlands gardens and everywhere in between each ceremony relaxed, inclusive and written from scratch.
I became a celebrant because I love people and I love a good love story. After years of speaking in front of audiences, I found the place where warmth, words and a sense of occasion all come together ~ and I've never looked back.
As a full time Civil Marriage Celebrant, I take care of everything legal ~ the Notice of Intended Marriage, the certificates, the registration ~ so you can focus on the fun parts. My planning folder, with over 30 vow options and ceremony ideas, means you'll never be staring at a blank page.
Most of all, I promise a ceremony that sounds like you: your words, your humour, your people ~ and a celebrant who feels like a friend by the time you say "I do".
You'll find me around Balmain walking the harbour foreshore, hunting down a good coffee, and quietly collecting readings, poems and vow ideas for the couples I haven't met yet.
I'm also a children's book author. My story began years ago on a beautiful old red typewriter and writing bush poetry and custom wedding ceremonies fed that same creative spark.. and my children's novel grew from it.
And I love to draw and paint. In my sandstone basement studio music on and I get lost in abstract, whimsical contemporary art. I've exhibited in Lindfield and Balmain.
